CRECHE during the service. Toys are available in the vestibule for our younger congregation, and as the service is relayed in that area, parents and friends need not feel excluded. Beginners (3-5) and Primary (5-7) meet in their own room. Juniors (8-11) in the main hall.

CHURCH WEBSITE The church website is about to undergo a few changes. It will be offline from Sunday 1 October for a maximum of 3 weeks .The website address will have changed and the new web address will be printed in the notices once the website is back online.


A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY Molly's Coffee Morning, Tuesday 24 October from 10am to 12 noon at church. Tickets £1 including coffee/tea & biscuits. Cakes, cards, quilted goods, gifts for shoebox appeal etc.
All proceeds towards completing the new kitchen.


VOLUNTEERS STILL NEEDED 3Generate the National Methodist Children's and Youth event is coming to Southport Pontins on 24-26 November. Such a large event needs a dedicated team of volunteers: stewards, night stewards, facilitation team, worship, additional needs, admin, logistics, set up/set down team. If you think you can help out in any way please go to the volunteering page

As well as the prayer meetings held within our own church, there are other opportunities in Southport to meet with others for prayer.


THANK YOU We have received a letter of thanks from the Soup Kitchen following the donations made during the Harvest service at St John's last Sunday. It was the largest single donation ever made to the Soup Kitchen and they are eternally grateful to St John's and to our church for the generosity and kindness.
